Have FFC for a changed flight that was for 2 travelers on 1 reservation. Issued 2 flight credits, now trying to use them but can only apply 1 to the planned itinerary.

Booking 2 separate tickets is an option, but only 1 traveler would get status benefits.

Anyone had any luck getting UA to allow use of 2 FFC, or getting them to refund the second one?

I've booked wife and kids on separate reservation using miles while paying for my own ticket multiple times and have always been able to link them so they get economy plus, etc.

If I book on miles, I'll still have an unused flight credit.

I assume you are trying to do this all online. They can usually fix issues like this if you give them a call and have status on the primary account.

Yes. Getting to a human on the phone is my goal today.

Not saying you have to use miles, just saying they can link two separate reservations if you call them.
