Can anyone recommend a good restaurant in Denver, preferably close to the airport? I'm flying in and have to wait a couple hours for my brother to fly in. TIA.

There's not a lot of anything close to the airport. It's about a 10-15 mile drive to civilization. However, there are some decent eating places at the terminals.

Are you looking to leave the airport and then pick him up or something?

they have a TCBY at DIA, as well as a cookie shop, to satisfy a potential sweet tooth.

I always eat at the Front Range Grill in Terminal C. They have decent burgers. I wouldn't recommend it though if you're looking for a good meal. It's more like bar food. They do serve 20 oz. draft beers for a decent price. I always go with a Sam Adams. Two of those will knock you out for a plane ride.

There isn't much out near the airport except for a Bennigan's on Tower Road just off of Pena.

Good restaurant is very objective. Having a price range and favorite type of food might help.

As others have said, airport is about 15 minutes from any civilization -- near I-70/Pena (Pena is road from airport to I-70), there is an Applebee's and a few other standard restaurants.

There's a Carabba's not too far from there - about 20 minutes. Iliff/225

It's about 30 minutes to downtown Denver, and then your choices are quite open.

Thanks guys - we just ended up grabbing a quick bite at Bennigans just down the road from the airport.
