Will be up that way in early august. Want a semi private-ish nice course (no muni's unless they are very nice)

Any Suggestions? Never been to the area and staying in copley square area. Anyone that can get me on at TPC-Boston by some crazy chance?

not a lot of golf courses around here actually so don't have your hopes set too high. I think it is simply a lack of space issue and a weather issue. I'm not a golfer but I have heard that the course at Franklin Park is supposed to be nice. I can ask around and see if anyone I know has a rec.

I played at Georgetown Country Club this weekend... open to the public, about 40 min north of the city. Not too shabby.
