If you move the Charleston, be wary of high insurance rates, since it is prone to hurricanes. Very pretty town though. My family lived there in the mid 70's. Our neighborhood looks like it was completely destroyed by a hurricane a few years back.

I lived there from Dec 2000 until Oct 2001 while in the USN...loved it! Of course I didn't have to pay for a house or car or any of the insurances that go along with them...

Much like Corpus Christi, only prettier and more suited for tourists. A lot of history to explore also.
