Ladies and gents, I'm possibly looking at moving to Concord, NH for law school. Any thoughts on the area, New Hampshire in general, or any other related comments? I'm visiting the school in the next couple of weeks, and it will help clear up the picture.

Thanks!

So, now I'm definitely moving to Concord. Are there not ANY Aggies in the Granite State? Come on people!

I would suggest looking on the former student website and seeing if there is an Aggie club around there. I'm sure there is.

Looks like there are 197 former students in NH, with 8 in Concord.

Congrats on the move. Get ready for one hell of a winter. Otherwise, this place is quite beautiful and I enjoy the plethora of outdoor activities. Also, I hope you are already married or have a significant other. I don't think the co-eds look as good as they do in Texas or any other place for that matter. I have seen a couple of Texas A&M stickers up here over the year, but that is it. I am up in Hanover, NH, about 45 minutes away. Let me know if you need any help moving in.

Going to Dartmouth for grad school. Everyone in Hanover is connected to Dartmouth somehow.

Thats great. What did you study at A&M, what are you studing now and how did you end up there ? Dartmouth was where my son wanted to go undergrad, he really liked the area and the school but after being deferred, didn't get in. He will do pre-med at A&M this fall. Hanover is a great town and we enjoyed our visit. We want to go back some summer and fish, hike etc.

I studied Agribusiness at A&M. I went into the Army for some travel and adventure, but Uncle Sam decided to send me to El Paso instead.

I still wanted to test the waters outside of the Lone Star State, so when I started looking for grad schools, I applied to out of state schools.

I am pursuing my MBA here. It is quite a phenomenal experience, but your son is obviously still in a great place. In fact, if I was to give advice to any young person, I would say go to a good state school (A&M being the best) for undergrad and go to top-tier school such as Dartmouth for you graduate degree. In my opinion, it will get you two different sets of connections, and in my case, the two years to get an MBA are much less costly than 4 years here.
