Hey guys - not sure where to post this but my family had a house rented (from vrbo) in New York (Ulster County) for my brothers graduation from West Point next weekend, and two weeks ago the landlord cancelled the reservation. Family had made reservation over a year ago and already paid a large portion of the bill (~ $3K). Needless to say we were slightly angered, so made a tactful yet less than positive post on owners listing. Now he is not refunding the money, and has hired a lawyer.

Anyone know a lawyer in that area or have any advice on how to find one other than yellow pages? tried google...

They can at the very least help find you an Aggie Lawyer in the area. That's a starting point.
