Howdy! Just moved to Baton Rouge for work. Any aggies out here?

The Baton Rouge A&M Club is a pretty good group of people, though a lot of the older Ags have passed away in recent years. They usually have happy hours at least once a month. I live a hour east in Covington now.

any contact info for the BR Aggie Club? Besides emailing via the association website.

Robert Brownlee is/was the president of the BR Club. Super cool guy.

Howdy, just saw this thread. I'm just moved to Baton Rouge about two weeks ago. What part of the city are you, just out of curiosity.

There is a BRAggies Yahoo group.

They try to get together for Happy Hour every third Thursday of the month at 5:30 pm at Izzo's Illegal Burrito - Corporate Dr.

They also always have a Muster that is well attended.

im right off of corporate. you? have had a hard time getting a hold of the BR A&M club, but seems there are a few Aggies where I work and i know there are a few Aggies in grad school at LSU..

Airline near Jefferson. I was actually originally living on Corporate next to Izzo's.

nice. if i can get out of the office in time tomorrow i may try and swing by Izzo's around 5:30 to see if anyone is there

Hey - the just sent out the email about Muster.

It is at the Baton Rouge Country Club at 5:30 social hour/6:30 dinner on the 21st. $35 per person.

I've "paid at the door" many times, but if you want to, you can mail your check earlier. I can post Julian Honeycutt's address (that is who you send it to) or you can look him up in the AFS directory. I just hate putting other people's addresses up for too long.

BTW - the BRCC is at 8551 Jefferson Hwy - pretty much where Essen Lane hits Jefferson.

I go to BR about twice a month on the weekends. If there is ever an Aggie get together (Muster, game watching party, happy hour, etc) let me know!
