I was offered a job working down in Tampa at CENTCOM yesterday. I've lived in Gainesville, FL for two years now but I don't know much about Tampa. Because I would take a loss on my house to move I was thinking of renting a house down there. Anybody know much about the city? How are taxes and utility prices?

Thanks but I ended up turning the job down. There was no way I was going to be able to afford selling my house right now here in Gainesville.
