Just wondering what the best areas of Las Vegas area to live in? I hear the west side, but what areas other than that are areas to raise a family? Thanks guys/gals.
I though you had a thread on here about moving to Hill? BTW, I just moved from the AV to Wyoming. Gotta love the Air Force. Where did you work at Edwards?
Well yeah I was looking at moving to Odgen, but that all fell through at the very last minute. Anyhow I might be getting a job offer from a firm in Las Vegas, and was wondering if anyone had some insight on good areas of town.
I work with the Environmental Management group here at Edwards. All our contractor positions are being converted to civil service position at some point in the new year. As such if you don't want to be civil service then you need to look elsewhere.
I was offered a job in Las Vegas yesterday and am now seriously looking at places around the Vegas metro area to see where would be the best place to live. If anyone has any suggestions that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
From what I understand of the area, you would want to stay away from the Boulder City area, just from what I have picked up on my few trips to Vegas the past few weeks.
Just from people at the company I will be working with in Vegas, they tell me the less reputable sides of town are the North, Northeast, and East. Just what I hear of the area. Green Valley is really close and a nice area to live in.
