Time for the Annual Aggie BBQ at Crissy Field in San Francisco! Join us on Saturday, August 28 starting at 12 PM PST (noon) and going until the cows come home.

Come enjoy a day filled with warm friendly folks who speak your language (Texan, that is), tasty food, fantastic views of the Golden Gate Bridge, beach, and space to spread out, chill out, and be with friends.

If you are not able to make it out other events of the year, such as happy hour or watching the football games, this is your chance to connect with fellow Bay Area Ags. Kids and pets, friends and loved ones are all welcome: in the immortal words of Lyle Lovett, “That’s right, you’re not from Texas but Texas wants you anyway!”

There is plenty of space to throw the frisbee, play horseshoes, or any other picnic-type game. Bring a blanket and stay awhile.

Who: All Bay Area Aggies, friends and families
When: Saturday, August 28
Time: Noon
Where:  Picnic area at Crissy Fields
Why: It will be a great day at the beach, with outstanding people to hang out with
Cost: Free if you have paid your dues to our local club. $20 an individual and $25 per family otherwise; the money pays for supplies for the day. Please pay cash or check at the BBQ.
What to Bring:  Fun. Games. Your mojo.
Food & Drink: You bring the beverages, we’ll supply the food and other supplies. We’ll be grilling up hamburgers, veggie burgers and hot dogs.

See you next Saturday!

I used to live in Walnut Creek and we had quite a few Ags that would gather for football and basketball watching at Stadium Pub in Walnut Creek. Great place and we usually would have about 6-10 Aggies. Some of them work for Pixar because of our great Vis program.

Catch the BART to WC and then catch the shuttle to downtown and walk over to Stadium Pub and if you see Jake and his beautiful wife Mandy, tell them I said howdy! I miss Walnut Creek, but sure am glad to be back home in Houston.
