Hey Zeus
How long do you want to ignore this user?
Has anyone ever lived there before? I am considering it as an option for work. I am in my late 20's and don't have anything really tying me down. Pro's and con's of living there?

University of Arizona? 30,000 students, so I would assume there's something pretty cool to do.

Good golfing, if you're a golfer.

Terrain is less than desirable. The job market is okay, as it's the second biggest city in Arizona, but that's sort of deceiving because Phoenix is everything in this state as best I can tell. I think I'd rather live in the Phoenix area, but that may not be an option for you.

You'll find the food is pretty good here. The mexican food is more of a california style, so it's a little lighter with a lot more green sauces and avacado. The people in Arizona seem pretty friendly. Can't really say much else about Tucson.

I am moving away from here soon for a different position at work, but I would stay here in a heartbeat if I could.

I-10 is the only major road, and it's not exactly useful for most destinations. This can be annoying when it comes to stop light driving, but it also keeps the town feeling smaller than it really is.

Like has been said, the food is good. Golf is about as good as it gets (I've played 20 different courses this year and have about 20 more on my list that I wanted to still get to before leaving.) U of A gives you some of the college town atmosphere. Not too far from Vegas, west coast, beaches of Rocky Point in Mexico.

It is close to the border, but not close enough to feel like a true border town. The mountains here are awesome. And the weather is really great unless you like seasons and cold. But the heat isn't nearly as bad as Phoenix.

Not sure if you're used to the desert environment, but I guess that's something everybody reacts differently to. And for all of the negatives in the desert like coyotes, mountain lions, bobcats, rattlesnakes, etc out here (mainly if you have pets), you also miss out on the bugs and mosquitoes that get bad in other places.

Oh, and the housing is great. Plenty available and prices are good.
