I'm in Kentucky, the Ags have played half their season, and I haven't been there for any of them. I haven't been to Northgate since July, haven't seen A&M since August. Time for a little nostalgia, what are your fondest memories of good ol' College Station?

I'll start:

Picking up my GF at her apartment with a red rose and taking her to Kyle for Midnight Yell.

As for a single event, Thanksgiving 2007, Kyle Field, took my little sister to her first A&M game, Ags beat tu 38-30, 12th Man was is true form, couldn't hear myself think, couldn't talk for 3 days after, just couldn't have been any better.

Off the top of my head?

Probably my first Aggie game (freshman, sitting in the student section, with no idea what a yell was) with my gf. And the Aggie KState game when Reggie Mcneal took a 60 yarder to the house to seal the win. Still the loudest I've ever heard Kyle.

Ok now you got me thinking. The tailgate last year on Thanksgiving was amazing and who could forget this:

So many memories, my favorite football memory is the 2002 OU Game. Sitting with my buddies yelling our hearts out. What a great feeling. What an amazing game.

My favorite memories...
-The Texas Hall of Fame (where I met my wife)
-First halftime performance on Kyle Field
-Every step off from the Quad for football games
-Serving restricted weekends as a Senior, and going to the chicken and back every two hours to sign in and change into uniform in my buddies truck
-driving back in on weekends as fish from Houston and seeing the watertower in CS in the distance, and knowing what was coming when you got back to the dorms... so many memories

other than my friends, my favorite memory was "the shot" from my freshman year. I was front row, band side and still remember to this day the emotions i felt when rushing the court. That would've been the biggest upset on espn that night, but i remember florida state beating duke at FS st that night, so it sorta got overshadowed. That win brought us to respectability

Working (and eating) at Fuddruckers on Texas Avenue.

Long John Silvers at the corner of Texas and Park Place. Good eats for someone like me who had very little money.

Emily Pulley was in choir with me at Consol. Such a beautiful voice. She did a solo for Jester Hairston when Mr Hairston conducted a concert in the brand new Consol auditorium.

Watching Rocky Horror Picture Show (and screaming out lines) at the Grove on campus.

Oh I forgot- getting lots of hard-to-find music at Marooned Records in Northgate, and eating yummy meals at the Deluxe burger bar while throwing away my money in the jukebox. My 3 favorite places to eat on University were the Deluxe Burger Bar, Fatburger, and the little A-frame IHOP.
