Anyone live there? I'm about to hit the academic job market, and I'm trying to decide where all to apply. KSU has an opening.

I went up there for the dreaded Kstate game last year. Seemed like your average college town. More scenic than a Stillwater or Waco. Pretty close to Junction City which is a military town.

Its a pretty fun little college town and their bar scene is called Aggieville, so that's a plus. Overall the people are pretty friendly and there's four seasons each year, a bit different than College Station. There's a lot worse college towns you could be stuck in. Overall I enjoy it. Not sure when you're coming up, but I'm stuck here in the little apple, let me know and I'll buy you a Tallgrass beer.

Fun town if you like bars and sports, because that's all there is to do. I have enjoyed my trips there for Ag games.
