I moved to Tulsa back in September as I got a job with an oil and gas company here. I haven't been here very long but I like the town so far. Tulsa has quite a bit to do: they got minor league sports (arena football, hockey, baseball) lots of bars, biking/hiking trails, a river runs right through town, casinos, and really nice golf courses. Conoco Phillips is in Bartlesville which is only 45 mins away. I know a couple of people that work in their IT department.
If you are interested in law school, I know University of Tulsa has a pretty good law school but I hear it is expensive. I have a friend at OU law school just south of Oklahoma City which is less than 2 hours away. There is also the Oklahoma City University School of Law. Those are the only three law schools in Oklahoma.
For jobs in Tulsa, there are a lot of oil and gas companies, banks, education and healthcare. I can try to see if the company I work for has any need for communications majors but I am fairly new and I know we are trying to cut costs.
