The wife is currently in the running for a position at Ohio State. Does anyone have any info on the town? Things to do, places to see, places to stay away from. Any thoughts are appreciated.
I was talking to a Columbusonian(?) friend of mine today to ask what to do on an upcoming weekend trip. Apparently the brewery district and the Arena district are the places to be for restaurants, culture, nightlife, etc.
Very happy to help in any way I can. I know what it is like. I had never been to Columbus when my wife accepted the job at OSU. I can tell you that Columbus and southern Ohio is very much like Texas. People here are very friendly.
I just sent an email from my hotmail account to you with my contact info. Please feel free to call with any questions.
short north, brewery district, arena district and easton town center are all nice places to check out. north market in short north is pretty cool too even though it's kind of small
Last I saw one of the assistants got the position. But if they are looking for someone to teach all the football players how to knit and garden then my wife would be a great fit.
