Howdy Ags,

I wanted to share with any interested Aggies that I am currently traveling on an extended road trip around the USA. I am traveling from state to state, city to city, in order to learn more about American people, places, and cultures. The catch is that I will be working "odd jobs" and temporary work along the way to pay for it. I have teamed up with the website, Oddjobnation.com , which I use as a resource in finding work in various locations during my trip. In addition, the creator of Oddjobnation.com has created a web page called "The Job Trotter” that highlights my journey across the country. I headed west out of Texas to begin the road trip, and have been crashing with willing family members, friends, and people I meet along the way. I have also mixed in some camping, couch surfing, and utilizing any resource I can come up with. So far it has been an interesting trip, so if you are interested in following me along the way make sure to check out Oddjobnation.com/thejobtrotter or you can follow me on Twitter @TheJobTrotter.
I would love to hear from you guys along the way! If anyone has ideas on places to visit, cool things to do, or willing folks with an available couch where I can crash or yard where I can pitch a tent, I would love to hear about it. Also if you know people around the USA that have available temporary or odd jobs that need tackling, definitely let me know because I'm their guy! I may not be the most skilled guy out there, but I will always bring a good work ethic, positive attitude, and a friendly face. I always enjoy meeting Aggies and learning about what they are up to across our great nation. My journey started in October and I plan on being on the road for the next 6-12 months.

Thanks and Gig ‘Em
