I'll be in Denver around dinner time. Would love to eat somewhere that is fast, local, and unique. Looking for suggestions.

I'm a big fan of the Cricket. A few other options: Stuebens, My Brother's Bar & Grill, H-Burger (burgers and shakes), and Cherry Creek Grill. Hit up Great Divide tap room for great beer before if going to H-Burger or My Brother's.

If you're here for breakfast, get pancakes at Snooze.

Blasphemy! You're the first person I've heard say that. Do you not like the quality of the food, or are you more of a meat/salty breakfast person?

I've heard about Lucille's, but I've never been. Isn't it more of a meat/down home cooking type of place? I definitely want to try it.

Denver does not lack breakfast spots: Syrup, Toast, Pete's Kitchen, Dixon's, Delectable Egg, Sam's No. 3, and many more.

I guess i'm a fatty. I like the home cooking breakfast.

I did forget about the red velvet pancakes from snooze. Those are awesome. What part of town do you live in? The lucilles in Littleton is where the wife and I go.

We bought a house in Lone Tree a few months ago, and lived in DTC before that.

My favorite Snooze pancake is the pineapple upside down. Their breakfast burrito is good too. Best breakfast burrito I've had might be at Syrup in Cherry Creek.

Any recommendations on what ot get at Lucille's?

Its not on the menu but ask for farmers eggs

I too didn't love Snooze when I tried it. If I didn't have to wait 39 mins for a table on a Thursday morning and then pay a bill of $35, I would have probably thought it was good.

Also, you can't leave out City Grille when talking about burgers.

Paramount Cafe has some unique/delicious burger choices, is downtown and fairly quick.
