I am moving north of Denver, CO near Thorton. I was wondering what are the options for internet and cable in this region? Satellite may not be an option do to apt facing location.

What are the rates for internet and cable? I am looking at just basic digital cable package and lowest internet speed(up to 20mbps).

what are good/bad services in this area?

I see comcast is available for cable and internet. Any other providers available for internet?

Really only two major providers in the area...

Comcast has all three
Century Link (Qwest) Has internet & phone and partners with Direct Tv for tv.

Also could get Dish.

For price you'll have to call them. It seems like they change bundles/prices all the time.

we have DirecTV and pay about $40 a month for DSL from Centurylink (used to be Qwest).

Both are OK...if we ever give up DirecTV, I'd consider buying a Boxee box. http://www.boxee.tv/

Oh and it's ThorNton.

I have Direct TV and Century Link (phone, internet). My wife does the bills, but I think interenet and phone is $35, and TV is about $80-85 and includes tons of channels.
