Moving to Denver this weekend, and wanted to know if anyone on here participates in the A&M club there? Just curious what it's like?

You should definitely sign up and go to Muster! Roger Creager is the speaker and musical guest for the "after party". Unfortunately, we're gonna miss this year, but always have a great time there!

Thanks for the reply. I'm actually traveling to Athens, TX for muster. One of my buddies is the muster chair there. He got Randy McCown to speak this year, and a group of our friends are all going.

There are a ton of Aggies in Denver & a good group. I'm not nearly as involved as I'd like to be, but I make it to a couple game-watching parties a year. What part of Denver are you going to live and work?

Moving to the highlands at 17th and central. Working on the employment side of things. Which bar are the games watched at?

Ogden Street South, a mile or two from downtown.

Have over 3,000 Aggies in the front range area; and I had the pleasure of being President of the Denver A&M Club for the last 2 years (great way to meet folks in the area). Tons of game watching parties - look for joint events with SEC schools this fall.

Got Roger Creager for Muster this year, and a concert afterwards. Next year is RC Slocum.

There is a good chance I'll be moving to Denver soon and was going to ask this question. I know virtually nobody up there. Was looking at Hamden south area. Will be working in greenwood village/ DTC

Are you single or married? If single and wanting some nightlife, I'd look in DTC. Also, traffic is not that bad in Denver, so don't be afreid to live 10-15 miles way from your office.

Single. Need to get a handle on the courses up there too. I'm probably hovering between 16 and 18, but mayble I'll have more time to swing the sticks.

We have a ton of really good courses for $30-50. Keep me posted, and I'll answer any questions.

I'm looking for a job in the Denver area if anyone knows of any opportunities. I've been living in the Vail Valley for 4 years, but haven't been able to find a sustainable career opportunity in this volatile tourist market. I have experience in marketing, sales and real estate (Bachelor's in marketing, master's in real estate, both from A&M). I'm hoping to get into one of those areas. Any ideas or resource recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Indeed.com, linkedin, could help you with searches maybe for some ideas on the market. I'm not sure how the Denver club is, but San Antonio had lunches where people went to network and introduce themselves on their first visit which help many when I was there for job leads.

Yall do any events in the summer time? Assume football season would be next event. Just moved to Denver area.
