Shipping of alcohol across state lines almost universally requires a license, and depending on the state shipped from and to, felony penalties may follow for unlicensed interstate shipping of alcohol. Every state makes their own laws about shipment of alcohol resulting in tangled web of laws.

Could be fine, could be a felony. Just so you know the potential risks. What part of Texas are you in by the way?

and i bring beer from tx to nc all the time, but never shipped. my wife used to bring it in her luggage, but we've stopped doing that.

You can transport it, but you can't ship it.

And I agree...Yuengling isn't something I'd want to ship anyway. It's alright on draught, but I can barely stand it at all out of a bottle.

Yuengling is much better out of a can.

You can get infinitely better beers at almost any local grocery store.

Yuengling is one of the few American beers I can actually enjoy. Someone just brought me two cases from Knoxville earlier this week. I plan to visit the brewery in Pennsylvania in August.

Given the thousands of microbreweries popping up, I find this very hard to believe.

Let me rephrase, then... One of the few BRANDS, you know, that are actually easy to find.
