A buddy of mine and I were talking about how we both had Yuengling and Yuengling light on trips out east. I'd be willing to paypal cost of beer/shipping/little gratuity if anyone can help out. E-mail me lazuras_dc at yahoo dot com
thanks!

Shipping of alcohol across state lines almost universally requires a license, and depending on the state shipped from and to, felony penalties may follow for unlicensed interstate shipping of alcohol. Every state makes their own laws about shipment of alcohol resulting in tangled web of laws.

Could be fine, could be a felony. Just so you know the potential risks. What part of Texas are you in by the way?

I used vintage cellar http://www.vintagecellar.com/ to do the same thing about 2 years ago. Cost me $55 for two 6 packs.

Ah, too bad, if you were is DFW area, I would have been willing to bring you some when I head down there in July. Not going anywhere near South Texas though.

why would you want crappy beer?

You can transport it, but you can't ship it.

And I agree...Yuengling isn't something I'd want to ship anyway. It's alright on draught, but I can barely stand it at all out of a bottle.

If you're willing to pay $30+ in shipping, you can order it from http://www.bierkraft.com/yuenglinglagertwelvepack12oz.aspx (they gave a shipping quote to a Texas zip code anyway).

Yuengling is much better out of a can.

You can get infinitely better beers at almost any local grocery store.

Agree. Yuengling is one of the worst beers I've ever had.

What TX beer is worth this?

Yuengling is one of the few American beers I can actually enjoy. Someone just brought me two cases from Knoxville earlier this week. I plan to visit the brewery in Pennsylvania in August.

Given the thousands of microbreweries popping up, I find this very hard to believe.

Let me rephrase, then... One of the few BRANDS, you know, that are actually easy to find.
