Philadelphia is one of the worst cities I have ever visited, I'm afraid to say. It's so bad, you might be better off across the River in South Jersey. Or WAY north in the suburbs.

there are some great restaurants there but it is a rough town. Look for places in Old City, Center City, Graduate Hospital areas.
