Howdy Ags. My wife ('09), son (2033) and I ('07), will be moving close to Lexington Kentucky. Are there any good Aggie Clubs around that neck of the woods? Now that we are in the SEC, it would be nice to maybe have some game watching parties etc...behind enemy lines, as it were, not to mention it would be good to see a familiar Aggie Ring or two to remind us of home.

Howdy! I live in Lexington. I'm happy to answer any of your questions if I can. I've only lived here for about 2 years now, but there are some more established Lexington Ags around this site that I'm sure can answer any questions I can't.

The closest organized A&M club is Kentuckiana Aggies which is based out of Louisville, but there are a decent number of Ags here in Lex. I would love to get some game watching together this season. I've said that the past couple years and it hasn't really happened yet, but I'd really like to this time around, especially with the SEC schedule.

It would be my pleasure. But we might want to go somewhere public like a bar or restaurant. I'm not sure how many can fit comfortably in my 1 bedroom grad student apartment...

We are already going to the 4 SEC fb road games this year. Gotta see the basketball team. First time in 7+ years.

Not sure this is the best place to see the Basketball team, A) because they'd be playing UK, and B) because tickets could be very difficult to come by. But if you're coming up, I'd be glad to hang out if I'm not too terribly swamped.

Also, when exactly are y'all headed up here Gunslinger?

Also, I want to come to Cincy for a weekend, so might holler at you going thru for lunch or something.

Sure did.

And Cincinnati is great, I actually grew up there, and my girlfriend (also and Aggie) lives there now, so I'm up there a couple weekends a month. Be sure to catch a Reds game, especially this season since they're doing so well.

We will be heading that direction in mid-august.

Awesome, I'm actually going to be in Dallas for a while, but I should be back up here in early August.
