Just got orders to Schriever and will be moving to the springs sometime this winter/spring. Where do I need to live would probably be my first concern

Awesome city. Would have moved there if any jobs at the time. One of my favorites.
If you're going to be working at Schreiver, you probably want to live somewhere on the east side of Powers. There isn't any housing near there, and it is quite a commute.

Nice city. I'd have no problem living there if Denver did not exist.
You could also look into living in Castle Rock if you're looking for a suburb and want to be 35 minutes away from downtown Springs and downtown Denver.

I would not want to commute from Castle Rock to Schreiver. That commute would be an hour or maybe more each way. Maybe Falcon or Black Forest if you don't mind a little longer commute.

I've never heard of that place, so I looked it up. I agree the commute would be bad because it's 25 miles off of 25.
