I hope this message finds an Ag in Philly who might have a day off of work tomorrow and nothing better to do than help a fellow Ag out. I’ve been a long time lurker – first time poster – and I have seen some amazing things happen on this site. Hoping for a similar outcome…
My grandfather grew up in Philly and sadly is on his deathbed in Altoona, PA. He might have a few more weeks at most. I know it would make him smile to have some pound cake from Stocks one more time. My dad is passing through the Philadelphia (PHL) airport tomorrow at noon and I was hoping to connect with someone in Philadelphia who might be able to meet up with him and hand off a Stocks pound cake.
I know this is a long shot and it will likely not pan out, but I thought it was worth a try. I will gladly compensate for gas, time, and cake, plus some extra for being such a wonderful person. I would also owe you several beers the next time you find yourself in Houston or College Station.
