Any other Ags up here? I need some good southern friends... only so many times you can hear someone say "eh?" or about, pronounced "aboot" without laughing at them...
I feel your pain...in Wyoming. There's supposedly a WY A&M Club, but they haven't publicly advertised a Muster since 2011 and I've only been able to (virtually) connect with one other Aggie. We're better off heading south to Ft. Collins and participate in events with the Northern Colorado A&M Club.
I have an Aggie friend up in Miles City and will point her in this direction.
Most of the Ags I've met up here are in the military. You could probably find something at Warren AFB if you could connect with any ags there, or head up here to Miles City (depending on where in WY you are).
Would love to meet other ags in this area. Not many in no mans land..
Yeah when I was in Minot it would basically be the guys from base and the resident vet who was an Ag getting together for Muster. Glendive is where we always got on/off of 94 on the way to and back from Big Sky

yeah. Not much to this part of the world. We havent heard anything from anyone we know on the base in Minot, friend said Malmstrom wasnt doing anything, so looks like we will be heading to a restaurant for muster..
its a nice town. Quite a bit to do in the surrounding area. Quite a few ags at the AFB there. Cold as balls in the winter, very nice summers. Under 100,000 in town, but most places in Montana are. 2 colleges, so quite a few bars. And you can find Shiner in most gas stations/liquor stores there
quick drive to lakes, rivers, snow skiing, 3-4 hrs from Glacier Nat'l Park.
Thanks. Matches up what I've found. Should find out today or tomorrow if I have an on site interview. I looked at a printout of every winter day last November through now and yeah, it got ridiculously cold a few times, but by and large between cold spells warmed up pretty nicely most days. There are more days in the 50s than the ridiculous cold. But I hear that the west had a warmer than normal winter while the rest of the country has been cold, so I won't hang my hat on that. I tend to enjoy the idea of extremes, so while not a real fan of cold weather, I'd get a kick out of bragging about enduring -20. And I would LOVE to be able to get my kids into the outdoor stuff that it has to offer. If the job offer comes and pays well enough, leaning towards it. Thanks for your insight.
we hit -35 not including wind chill. It was actually a very harsh winter. Though Great Falls is on the other side of the state from me, so its possible it didnt hit them as hard.
