Heading to New Orleans on Thursday for the weekend and staying on Bourbon Street. Already booked the Haunted History Ghost Tour and plan on hitting the typical sites (Jackson Square, etc.) and of course the bars.

The NOLA Club watches games at Bruno's Tavern, Uptown, near the university district. It's located at 7538 Maple St.. You could take the St. Charles street car all the way down to Hillary St. and walk about 2 blocks to Maple St. It's a safe area, but I wouldn't do it by myself for the ride home. Doing as a group for the ride home would be fine or just take a cab back to your hotel. About 4 Ags did this last week for the Lamar game.

I've watched a copule games at Bruno's. The Nola Ags are very nice and accomodating. You definitely won't feel like an outsider at somebody else's club

I'll be in town for a wedding this weekend. I think we're all going to Bruno's for the game Sat. Does anyone know where to get reasonably priced tickets if I wanted to check out the Saints game on Sun?

If you want to buy them in advance, your best bet would be the usual online markets, NFL ticket exchange, Stubhub, etc. Considering the team's lackluster performance thus far this season, I bet you could pick some up on the street prior to the game. There have been some instances of fraud in the past on that scene. Sorry I'm not more help, but Saints tickets have generally not been selling below face value. After Sunday's performance, the market might be softening.

Thanks for the info. What's the word on Brunos? I know it's an early game, but does it fill up? There will probably be a fairly big group of us coming to watch the A&M game?

For the 11:00 game, we will have no issues with a large crowd. We have been in contact with the owner, and they are expecting us for 11:00.
