I am going to be moving to Charlotte in roughly a month and I have never been there before so I am unfamiliar with the town and where to avoid living. I am a young single professional that likes to be around the same type of people. Walking distances to bars/restaurants a big perk.

Any help would be appreciated.

Charlotte has a very active A&M club. Look them up on Facebook and post there. I'm sure you'll get some good responses.

Have only visited Charlotte, but it is a neat town. I know traffic can be interesting depending on where you need to be. Are you going to be in Charlotte proper for work or north in Mooresville or an outlying location?

I will be off icing out of my apt/house. I will be covering an area that includes down into Greenville, SC.

We live in Durham, about 2 hours from Charlotte. Not much help to you there, but NC is generally an okay place to live, and they have seasons. Anyway, welcome, and let us know if you're out this way.

I will find out tomorrow, but I think I will be commuting to Charlotte for work for the next year to year and a half. I would like to hear from someone on things to do/ restaurants/ bars, etc.
