I'm headed to Denver this weekend for a guys weekend before one of my buddies has a kid. What are some of the good restaurants & breweries?

Falling Rock Taphouse is a great brewery in downtown Denver. Not sure if you're going to Boulder, but Avery Brewing and Mountain Sun Pub are musts.

Falling Rock is a bar not brewery.

Assuming you'll be in downtown, I recommend Great Divide and Epic for breweries. You should probably take a cab to Epic.

Also, take a cab to Cherry Creek.... get a burger and beers at the Cherry Cricket, do some duckpin bowling at Milwaukee St Tavern, and wonder around. It's a great area.

Go to breakfast at Snooze in LoDo. Syrup is another option.

My vote for the best plate of Mexican food in Denver is the carnitas at D'Corazon.

Stay away from the martinis at Milwaukee St Tavern...unless you want to be grounded by your wife.

Crooked Stave, River North, Trve, are some other breweries up there.
