I currently live in Flagstaff, I have been offered a new position in our phx office. It has a 5% bump in pay initially with at least another 5% next year. The job is more presitigous, and challenging but my current job satisfaction is still pretty high. I am more of a cold weather person then hot and enjoy being able to dance off to my local crag, skill hill, or trail after work any time of year here in flag. Is it worth it to make the move? Would I be on suicide watch all summer since I can't just go for a run on a trail after work without getting heat exhaustion?

If you are really happy in Flag I don't know that I would leave. I lived in PHX for two years and it was nice but I am not sure even 10 percent is enough especially if you like the life up there.

If you really love cold weather and trails, I wouldn't come to Phoenix. It's a great city but it's also a large one and it's hot as all get out in the summer time. Although there's a hell of a lot more to do than there is in Flag, but that might not matter to you
