I've bounced back and forth between Texas and that part of the country for pretty much my whole life, and am pretty familiar with the city, but I've been in Texas for the last couple years now, so current residents are probably better resources than me for anything too specific.
In general Cincinnati is going to be warmer and sunnier than Cleveland, and it only gets about 1/3 as much snowfall. It's also economically healthier than Cleveland, and has a much more Southern cultural feel being right on the Kentucky border. So those should be some positives to look forward to.
