My wife (also class of '06) is going to be working in Miami for a short term project. It could be anywhere from 3 to 12 months in duration. Because of the uncertainty around how long the position will last, we are having a hard time finding an apartment or condo for her without committing to a full year or paying much more for a short term.
Her office will be near 92nd and Flagler, and she is looking around there or the Coral Gables area for a 1 bedroom or studio.
Out budget is maybe $1200/mo, maximum, but I would much prefer closer to $1000. She will be flying down to start the job July 6 and will probably stay in a hotel for the first week or so.
If any Ags have a lead on a decent apartment or condo or wouldn't mind having a fellow Aggie as a roommate, please let me know.
