You might Google the Columbia Basin A&M club in Richland, WA. The prez might know of someone who lives out toward, near or in Yakima.

I unfortunately am about 2.5 hours in the other direction.

Seattle is not that far from Yakima. You may have better luck with that alumni club as there's more members.
