Wish I could help. Mrs. Toddy is a Realtor, but we live about 2.5 hours east of Nashville.

What I will say is this...please make sure you interview about three different agents if you can't get a recommendation. Also, do not use the person listed on the For Sale sign of the house you think is the be-all, end-all. That agent represents the Seller. That said, in Tennessee, an agent can represent both the Seller and the Buyer, but it has to be disclosed and you'll need to agree to that in writing.

Congrats on your move to Nashville and Tennessee. We've been here almost 7 years. I do miss Texas...I won't ever say I don't...but Tennessee and Nashville is really, really special.

My cousin is a realtor in Murfreesboro. He's not an Aggie but is a stand-up man. I'm not sure how much he does in Nashville but I can check and get back to you.

I don't have a good realtor suggestion but I moved to the Nashville area 1.5 years ago and have several people I work with that are looking at houses now. All I can say is good luck. The market is a little crazy right now with houses only staying on the market for hours.
