Might be moving from Houston to an office in Reston, in the general vicinity of Dulles. I understand that most live west of the airport for a reasonable commute. Will probably rent a house rather than a townhome.

Anybody have any tips or warnings?

Research the Dulles Toll Road before finding a place to live. West of the airport can get really pricey with tolls

Nice areas around south side of Reston - lots of new development over last 6 or 7 yrs. Up near Rt 7 has been slowly getting more ghetto, esp Herndon. South towards Fairfax is good too. Might look into living closer in and reverse commute? Lots of decent options.
