Going to Philly in about a week. Anyone familiar with Philly and can tell me where the best steak sandwich can bought? I can google reviews, but am interested in the opinion of someone here. And, hole in the wall joints are preferred.

Angelo's is the best. Also arguably the best pizza as well…I personally like Steve's. Pat's and Geno's are very touristy and out of the way. Try John's Water Ice while you're in South Philly. Maybe avoid South Street while you're here and particularly late at night. Bit dangerous. Let me know if you need any other recs for food or stuff to do.
