.so we all know its history but even with all its baggage, it is still very popular in CHin-na.....
a dark horse in 2020 that returns many xxxxx over or the trust is gone forever hence a loser?

I bought 1000 shares today and will track daily.

The US is putting Chinese firms on our exchanges under higher scrutiny, we don't know their real financials yet, they may get delisted and the Chinese don't drink coffee like we do. It seems like an attractive gamble but I'm staying away - at least for another quarter and once if/when it's confirmed they aren't being delisted.

It must have been awhile since you two have been to China. The last time I was there you couldn't swing a dead cat around without hitting a coffee place. The Starbucks stores had just as long of lines as you see in the states.

...but back to the OP... there's a lot of risk. You don't truly know the upside, since previous prices were based on phoney numbers. Plus it seems likely that if any Chinese companies are delisted this one would be singled out as one of the first to go.

This is my take too. We were in Shanghai last year, they have the worlds second biggest Starbucks.

This is a risky stock but one u should have on your watch list......I may cash it out on Monday and let the profit ride for awhile before I jump back in.

Probably my most dramatic but luckily tiny investing mistake so far, super small investment but I put a few hundred bucks in when it was recommended by a lot of services. Not even worth selling at this point so...yeah.

It's probably worth a flyer at its current price though.

+81MM shares traded so far.

I remember back in 2008/2009 when I watched a coffee stock in south america go from $2 to $50.

Not saying this is going to do that but there are some positives to this company if you do some research and weight the risk.

The scary part of owning this stock....if the exchange stops trading it....so move forward with caution.
