Looking for a couple different things, and probably should start two threads, but I'll give it a try here..

1. Any guidance on places to look (youtube videos, online courses, etc.) for small business social media education? I know very little about things like utilizing tagging and hashtags, etc.

2. I had a small amount of patch hats done, but they were very expensive. I now have quite a few patches, and would like to find a more affordable way to apply the patches to hats.

I'm in D/FW. Any advice appreciated. Thanks

Google "search engine optimization" and watch all the YouTube videos you can. This is what I did and built my own site and have been able to stay on the first few searches for Google.

Build a website. Make a Google business account. Get people to review you. Get a Twitter, Facebook, IG account. Alsways hashtag and/link your website.

Tons of videos out there. Spend a week watching them.

If you are a business that serves local customers, SEO isn't what you need.

The map engine (your business listing) works off different algorithm. But if you are fully e-commerce, SEO is what you need.

I agree. I'd say that proximity marketing might be a good location-based marketing strategy. It uses technologies like Bluetooth, NFC, and GPS to send personalized messages and promotions to customers' smartphones when they are near the business location. But it has to be noted that to implement proximity marketing, small businesses need to invest in the right technology and software and develop a targeted marketing strategy that resonates with their target audience. But all those efforts are worth it.
