After looking at pricing, it's cheaper for my wife and kids to be on a marketplace health insurance plan than on my insurance plan which is through my business.
But the marketplace plan is still expensive.

Do any of you have any experience with alternatives to these two options that performed well and we're more cost effective? Do any of you have experience with medi-share programs?

Appreciate any advice. Just want to make sure we've checked all of our options.

I have an option that might work for you. It's basically an indemnity plan designed for routine care and doctor visits, but it also has a component to cover a major injury or life threatening diagnosis. I carry it on my children, and it's been a much better option for our family. Clients I've placed on the plan have been very happy with it as well.

Disclaimer- This plan is not a good option for someone with a significant medical history (i.e. cancer, heart problems)

You can DM me if you're interested, or you can email me at keith @ centexins dot com.

Best of luck!

Look into medical sharing programs like a medi-share. Read the fine print and understand what's excluded. But can't beat the price and we've been happy with the services
