I had the same thought the other day. it's not crazy to think that "Trump fatigue" could turn against the political establishment which would obviously be in Trump's favor. It's clear they hate him and it's equally clear they have things to hide that he's willing to expose. The left is best off leaving him alone at this point and let the Republican Party wander away from him. It's been six years of non-stop "we got him" and none of it has come to fruition. I'm guessing this goes nowhere as well and at some point enough people will stop and ask what they're afraid of.
The federal government was never meant to be this powerful.

Musk is wrong in that Trump's ceiling isn't going to increase if he's frog marched off to prison. His base will be more agitated than ever, and both sides will be more polarized than ever, but Trump isn't going to win in '24.

That said, if this were to happen, it would rally a lot of likely Desantis voters to his defense, which could keep Ron on the sidelines or result in a loss in the primary. Which would be the worst possible outcome for the country.

The best way to energize the Trump crowd into making things messy is to arrest him on a charge that will never stick. The best way to get rid of Trump is to let the Republican Party take him out. I voted for him twice but it's time he went away.
