It's been about six years since I had taxes filed on the 15th. My CPA jokes that this isn't the tax deadline, it's the extension deadline.

My wife and I are NOT business owners. That said, our return includes a couple (or more) of K-1's that require us to file an extension. We probably have not filed our return on April 15 in 5 or 6 years. Ironically, I emailed my CPA this morning to see if we were all set on the extension.

For just over 30 years, I prepared 300 to 340 returns every year and my returns got extended. Now retired, I still extend all my returns, lol.

Haven't filed on 4/15 in probably 25 years.

People think I'm an idiot or something, because all I do is cut lawns for a living.
