It's been a long time since I've seen diesel less than gas. Just in the last 6 months diesel was 50% more than gas.

What causes this to fluctuate so wildly? Seasonal refinery blend that shuts down plants? Demand less for diesel?

Winter demand for heating oil (which is basically diesel) going down.

Definitely not the case in here in South Texas in the middle of the Eagle Ford shale. Diesel is still $1.00+ per gallon higher. As long as the truck traffic is here, I don't see that changing in our area.

The Gas to Diesel spread has narrowed here in Houston area. But I'm still seeing Diesel about $.40 more than gas.

Earlier when I posted diesel was lower than gas by 20cents at many places. Gas has really shot up - 10-15% in the last couple weeks. Thanks a lot Biden.

We live in East Tennessee. Diesel is still considerably more expensive than regular. That said, we were in Austin this weekend for my daughters wedding...and regular gas and diesel gas were just about the same price. That really surprised me.

Diesel and gas were the exact same price yesterday in new braunfels when I filled up. I haven't seen that in almost 20 years that I can remember.

Diesel was about 5 cents cheaper than regular yesterday in Fort Worth. I drove to Cisco on I-20 and diesel was about 15 cents more expensive out there. That said, during the pandemic, it wasn't rare for diesel to be cheaper than gas.

Last few weeks in the Panhandle, gas was about $3.00, diesel about $3.30

Yesterday, diesel still at 3.30, gas up to 3.20 in Canyon. In Plainview, saw some stores at 3.30 for each, and at least one store with gas at 3.30, diesel at 3.20

Love the lower diesel prices, but crazy.

Did I read somewhere that gas tax had been rolled back for COVID, but returned to normal May 1?

Been about 5 to 10 cents cheaper at QT in Georgetown for a couple of weeks now. First time in a long time its been cheaper.

It's a dollar more a gallon for diesel than regular in the high alpine in CO.
