Two of our former students, Bryton Praslicka and Mary Beth Graham, just won the top prize of $350,000 at the Rice Business Plan Competition (largest pitch competition in the world). They are leading FluxWorks, an early stage innovator of magnetic gears. They beat out 500 applicants and 40+ teams at the live event over the last few days, including MIT, Harvard, and Yale and many others.
