We switched to them bc the prices were good and our broker recommended them, but we then canceled after like 10 days, which they let us do. It was strange. Many doctors were not in their network even though they were supposed to be. Many doctors/practices had not even heard of them. They seemed to want the insureds to do their marketing for them and get doctors to sign up with them. They thought the doctors would want to because supposedly they get better rates with Sana. But we weren't interested in having our employees try to convince each doctor they use to sign up with Sana.
There also seemed to be lots of hoops to jump through on certain items with an HSA plan. Also, on the perks, I believe if you use them then your rates go up the following year but can't remember the details on that. Just something to keep in mind if you are looking at it from a business owner perspective. If your broker is recommending them, I would ask him questions about all the above. I think some people like them (our broker uses them), but our experience wasn't great (although it was only ten days).
