The Chicken Salad Chick franchise thread got my wheels turning regarding franchising in my industry. I manufacture a product and also have a service that installs that product. The manufacturing is a lot less liability and overall fewer headaches than the service that we provide, and I think there's a lot of potential to spin the service off for franchising opportunities. Has anybody here ever created a service franchise and if so would be willing to talk? Who does one reach out to to explore these kind of options?
