Though not specifically AI, I'm buying the software ETF IGV

Im a little concerned some of the AI etfs may be heavy in chips considering deepseeks achievement

So I'm skipping to software

Not sure if these fit the bill, but I have QTUM and SKYY. They actually trade with a little volume and have at least been around a little while and have a history of decent gains.

Agreed. I think the value of AI is going to be captured by existing software platforms that are going to use the existing data and workflows they already have and make it smarter and more automated.

Instead of having 5 people in an accounting group, you'll get to having 2-3 and much better output. Over time that will shrink further. And the software provider is going to capture part of that savings.

Accounting, finance, corporate legal, marketing, supply chain…lot of existing software companies very entrenched in those areas that will be leveraging ai.

Haven't put any research I to it but energy production required to support AI expansion is a good place to look.

Also, on prem inference chips and hardware. IMO running models local on your own data will become like having a smart phone or PC. Everyone will have this, and that requires unified memory systems 128gb and up. Right now it's still Nvidia with the dgx spark and apple m4 (though can't compete with the spark), but this is a market where many more can compete and the market is billions of customers

Ding ding ding.
The long term play is to invest in enterprise B2B software.

Agreed for the midterm. Longterm, however, I think Ai creates significant disruption in existing platforms. Meaning Ai will so decrease the cost to build software that you can build custom enterprise for small to mid sized businesses. I'm not saying existing platforms become worthless, but my theory is they'll devalue. ARR will be there but not at today's level. But, who really knows. It's a new market disruption, eventually.

What I do know is today, we no longer employ more than one W-2 developer for our custom software as Ai allows him to do the work of 5. Seriously.
