I have been living Virginia at this apart for almost 3 years now.

This week I received three separate letters listing a company named Idriss Group LLC, but with my apartment address and number!

1. German Tax Office notifying IDRISS of violating a tax extension

2. Commonwealth of Virginia Corp commission.

3 Apple Fed Credit Union. An account closure notice. This is shown as Bilal Idriss, with my address.

Using findpeoplefast.com I find a different address for ole Idriss.

Idriss LLC
1289 Ballantrae Farm Dr,
Mclean VA 22101

Other than paying him a visit. Any thought on what I need to do. I can sense a lot of unpaid bills are about to flow my way.

It may be that he was in the apartment before you and never updated his business address with many of these places or they're all using a source with ordered info. I had something similar happen when I started getting mail about someone buying a new house. Turns out they had rented the house a couple of years before we bought it, and whatever marketing service these companies subscribed to were using the old address instead of the address of the house she just bought. I was worried until I looked up her name on the county's website for property records and found the sale of the new house.

check your credit and consider putting a lock on your file

i had someone try to rent an apartment in my name a few years ago. there are so many avenues these days for your data to get out that you almost have to stay locked by default. yes, it's a pain when you want to use your credit file but it can save you tons of headaches.

USPS change of address only works for one calendar year. Then, you continue getting mail from all prior residents from companies using an outdated address list.

I haven't figured out how to make it stop.

There isn't anything you can do...
