Has anybody tried this? Since it is a line of credit, it seems there is no loan term.

LTV is 50%.

2% annual charge on highest balance

5% APR

No rehypothecation.

Segregated cold-storage address.

Interesting. I will look into it. Better rates than Ledn but similar with no rehypothecation which is a must. I see they have a credit card too but I can't find a link to apply for that

Could this encourage smaller companies to start accumulating BTC as a long term plan for better borrowing rates, especially those that may be eying BTC as it stands

From Lava concierge:

your BLOC rate is 5% interest and a 2% capital charge, so 7% to borrow for 12 months. This fixed rate is locked in for 12 months, after which you can either pay it down or accept the rate we're able to offer at that time.

We do not require any payments, but you may pay off as frequently as you like to avoid accruing extra interest.

I've added you to the credit card waitlist! More details to come soon.

I'm not sure what is going on with Lava. Proceed with caution.

Don't give them your bitcoin. Put it in cold storage and forget about it for 5-10 years.

Just stake with SOL and enjoy 4.8% interest or whatever it is.
