How long do you want to ignore this user?
I have about $5k in my Bovada gambling account. I've withdrawn winnings for years by them sending me a couriered check. Now, they are telling me that is no longer an option.

I know literally NOTHING about crypto. How it works, what you can do with it, etc. literally nothing. But my only withdrawal options (shown below) seem to be via crypto. Does anyone know what any of these options are below, or what the easiest option below would be to somehow get it withdrawn into crypto then converted to cash?

I appreciate any and all help.

If it were me, I'd open an account on Strike and withdraw it in bitcoin(lightning generally has lower fees) to the address strike will give you/associate with your account.

You can convert it back to USD and send to the bank account information you give them when you register.

i use coinbase. download the app - couldnt be simpler.

i'm sure you know this but pay taxes on profits. offshore sports betting is not illegal. not reporting earnings is.

Unfortunately the BBB is about to make sports betting on any scale a thing of the past (If the IRS chooses to enforce it)

  • Previous Rule (for 2025 tax year and prior): Gamblers could deduct 100% of their losses against their winnings, up to the total amount of winnings. This meant that a gambler who won $100,000 and lost $100,000 had a net income of $0 and no federal tax liability on those winnings.
  • New Rule (effective January 1, 2026): Gamblers can only deduct 90% of their losses against their winnings. In the same scenario of winning $100,000 and losing $100,000, only $90,000 of the losses are deductible. This results in $10,000 of "phantom" taxable income, even though no net profit was made.
