Inherited a one-ounce Canadian Maple Leaf coin. What timing. I know predicting future prices is a crapshoot but I'm tempted to sell now and not get ready.

Where to sell? I live in The Woodlands area.

One place said they lock in a price with a credit card and offer $65 less than the spot price of gold (I guess they have to make their profit). This afternoon they were offering $4398 for the coin.

You can get spot PLUS since its a coin. Since you are new, you'll probably have to ship to a middle man, so you'll be out shipping to the MM and the MM fee. The buyer will pay the trusted MM, then you ship coin to the MM. The MM tests the metal for authenticity/content. MM then ships coin to the buyer and pays you, minus their fee.

Have you done it? Lots of opportunities to get scammed in that workflow.

I sold to this guy once before and got a fair price. He's in the woodlands.
