Was looking for a a good online source of businesses that are Aggie owned/operated.

Recently started with a 3PL and bet my manager I could build a majority of my book of business with Aggie businesses this year. Figured this would be a good place to get some recommendations.

Any ideas would be appreciated! Gigem!

Not a comprehensive list, but at least it gets you in the ballpark of growing Aggie businesses and entrepreneurs.

Spend a couple hundred bucks and a couple hours learning how to use LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

Cold outreach is a tough game and 3PL is a crowded space. Even using the best tools and focusing on Aggies, these leads aren't going to be WARM. They'll maybe get upgraded from TOTALLY cold to VERY cold.

But still, going from 1% response rate to 2% response rate is going to give you twice as many at bats.

Texags used to have a service called MaroonBook or something that acted as a aggie owned business directory. They made $ off it by letting people advertise and charge $ for maroonbook info in their signature.

Are you cheaper than the big 6 3PL companies? If no, what is the reason that someone would switch? If you are just a broker with a backend of one of the big 6, then I am not paying you all to mark up something I can get for cheaper.

I work for the largest privately held 3PL in the country. My go to market is bundling small parcel, LTL, and FTL services for the SMB market. Our partnership with UPS allows us to bring those 3 services under one umbrella which is unique in the space.
